Videre potesne luce matutina
quod salutavimus vespere morienti
cuius clav(i) et stellae turbidam per pugnam
in tutatis muris fortiter se praebebant?
Fulgoresque diri, fragoresque belli
monstrant per noctem: aderat vexillum!
Adhucne signum illud stellatum stat
super terram liberam patriamque fortem?
