Those who have been true philosophers, Syrus, seem to me to have very wisely separated the theoretical part of philosophy from the practical. For even if it happens the practical turns out to be theoretical prior to its being practical, nevertheless a great difference would be found in them; not only because some of the moral virtues can belong to the everyday ignorant man and it is impossible to come by the theory of whole sciences without learning, but also because in practical matters the greatest advantage is to be had from a continued and repeated operation upon the things themselves, while in theoretical knowledge it is to be had by a progress onward. We accordingly thought it up to us so to train our actions even in the application of the imagination as not to forget in whatever things we happen upon the consideration of their beautiful and well ordered disposition, and to indulge in meditation mostly for the exposition of many beautiful theorems and especially of those specifically called mathematical.

"Mirror Soul."
Once, I believed in soulmates with all my heart.
Then life tested me.
And for a while, that belief grew quiet.
But my heart opened again.
And I remembered something important.
Soulmates are real.
They are as steady as the stars above you.
And even deeper than a soulmate is your "Mirror Soul."
This is your twin flame.
Someone whose energy matches yours in a powerful way.
A soul who feels drawn to you.
A soul who may be searching for you right now.
There is a gifted artist with a rare intuitive talent.
She is ready to sketch the face of your "Mirror Soul."
If your heart feels happy and full, protect the love you have built.
But if you feel even a small spark of curiosity, this artist may show you something new.
The choice is always yours.
My daily astrological tips will guide you with gentle insight.
And I will be sharing something special with you very soon.
Until then, let love and light lead your way.

SOLITUDE by Goethe
SOLITUDE.
Grant, 0 ye healing Nymphs, that have your haunts
By rock and stream and lonely forest-glade.
The boon which, in their bosoms' silent depths,
Your votaries crave ! Unto the sad of heart
Give comfort — knowledge unto him that doubts —
Possession to the lover, and its joy.
For unto you the Gods have given, what they
Denied to man — to aid and to console
All those soe'er, who put their trust in you.

A key to the revelations of st. john. By Joseph Smith.
A key to the revelations of st. john.
By Joseph Smith.
Q.—What is the sea of glass spoken of by John, 4th chapter, and 6th verse of the Revelations?
A.—It is the Earth, in its sanctified, immortal, and eternal state.
Q.—What are we to understand by the four Beasts, spoken of in the same verse?
A.—They are figurative expressions, used by the Revelator John, in describing heaven, the Paradise of God, the happiness of man, and of beasts, and of creeping things, and of the fowls of the air; that, which is spiritual, being in the likeness of that which is temporal; and that which is temporal, is in the likeness of that which is spiritual; the Spirit of Man in the likeness of his person, as also the spirit of the beast, and every other creature which God has created.
Q.—Are the four beasts limited to individual beasts, or do they represent classes or orders?
A.—They are limited to four individual beasts, which were shown to John, to represent the glory of the classes of beings, in their destined order or sphere of creation, in the enjoyment of their eternal felicity.
Q.—What are we to understand by the eyes, and wings, which the beasts had?
A.—Their eyes are a representation of light, and knowledge; that is, they are full of knowledge; and their wings are a representation of power, to move, to act, &c.
Q.—What are we to understand by the four and twenty Elders, spoken of by John?
A.—We are to understand that these Elders whom John saw, were Elders who had been faithful in the work of the ministry and were dead; who belonged to the seven churches,—and were then in the Paradise of God.
Q.—What are we to understand by the book which John saw, which was sealed on the back with seven seals?
A.—We are to understand that it contains the revealed will, mysteries, and works of God; the hidden things of His economy concerning this earth during the seven thousand years of its continuance, or its temporal existence,
Q.—What are we to understand by the seven seals with which it was sealed?
A.—We are to understand that the first seal contains the things of the first thousand years, and the second also of the second thousand years, and so on until the seventh. Q.—What are we to understand by the four Angels, spoken of in the 7th chap, and 1st verse of Revelations?
A.—We are to understand that they are four Angels sent forth from God, to whom is given power over the four parts of the earth, to save life and to destroy; these are they who have the everlasting Gospel to commit to every Nation, Kindred, Tongue, and People; having power to shut up the Heavens, to seal up unto life, or to cast down to the regions of darkness.
Q.—What are we to understand by the Angel ascending from the East, Revlations 7th chapter and 2nd verse?
A.— We are to understand that the Angel ascending from the East, is he to whom is given the seal of the Living God, over the twelve tribes of Israel; wherefore he crieth unto the four Angels having the Everlasting Gospel, saying, hurt not the Earth, neither the Sea, nor the Trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads; and if you will receive it, this is Elias which was to come to gather together the tribes of Israel and restore all things,
Q.—What time are the things spoken of in this chapter to be accomplished?
A.— They are to be accomplished in the sixth thousand year, or the opening of the sixth seal.
Q.—What are we to understand by sealing the one hundred and forty-four thousand, out of all the tribes of Israel; twelve thousand out of every tribe?
A.—We are to understand that those who are sealed are High Priests, ordained unto the Holy Order of God, to administer the Everlasting Gospel; for they are they who are ordained out of every Nation, Kindred, Tongue, and People, by the Angels to whom is given power over the Nations of the earth, to bring as many as will come, to the Church of the First Born.
Q.—What are we to understand by the sounding of the Trumpets, mentioned in the 8th chapter of Revelations?
A.—We are to understand that as God made the world in six days, and on the seventh day he finished his work, and sanctified it, and also formed man out of the dust of the earth; even so, in the beginning of the seventh thousand years will the Lord God sanctify the earth, and complete the salvation of man, and judge all things, and shall redeem all things, except that which he hath not put into his power, when he shall have sealed all things, unto the end of all things; and the sounding of the trumpets of the seven Angels, are the preparing, and finishing of his work, in the beginning of the seventh thousand years;—the preparing of the way before the time of his coming.
Q.—When are the things to be accomplished, which are written in the 9th chapter of Revelations?
A.—They are to be accomplished after the opening of the seventh seal, before the coming of Christ.
Q.—What are we to understand by the little book which was eaten by John, as mentioned in the 10th chapter of Revelations? A. — We are to understand that it was a mission, and an ordinance, for him to gather the tribes of Israel; behold, this is Elias; who, as it is written, must come and restore all things.
Q.—What is to be understood by the two witnesses, in the eleventh chapter of Revelations?
A.—They are two Prophets that are to he raised up to the Jewish Nation in the last days, at the time of the restoration, and to prophesy to the Jews, after they are gathered, and build the city of Jerusalem, in the land of their fathers.

Soma beverage
Soma beverage is not an ordinary intoxicating liquor.
“In this verse, the word soma means “nectar.” Soma is a kind of beverage made in the heavenly planets from the moon to the kingdoms of the demigods in the various higher planetary systems. By drinking this soma beverage the demigods become more powerful mentally and increase their sensual power and bodily strength. The words hiranmayena patrena indicate that this soma beverage is not an ordinary intoxicating liquor. The demigods would not touch any kind of liquor. Nor is soma a kind of drug. It is a different kind of beverage, available in the heavenly planets. Soma is far different from the liquors made for demoniac people, as explained in the next verse.
The demons also have their own types of beverages in the form of liquors and beers, just as the demigods use soma-rasa for their drinking purposes. The demons born of Diti take great pleasure in drinking wine and beer. Even today people of demoniac nature are very much addicted to liquor and beer. The name of Prahlada Maharaja is very significant in this connection. Because Prahlada Maharaja was born in a family of demons, as the son of Hiranyakasipu, by his mercy the demons were and still are able to have their drinks in the form of wine and beer. The word ayah (iron) is very significant. Whereas the nectarean soma was put in a golden pot, the liquors and beers were put in an iron pot. Because the liquor and beer are inferior, they are placed in an iron pot, and because soma-rasa is superior, it is placed in a golden pot.

Gimme!
Too often have we been blinded by the desire to have what we want! Too often have we been blinded by the desire to need what we need! We need, merely because we can! We are all fat and happy! We are far too greedy! We desire to obtain, merely because it is possible! Fools! Whoever said that it was good for you to get what you want? Whoever said that it was good for you to need what you need? Learn to give up what you want for the sake of others!

Leviticus 16:1–18:30
Leviticus 16:1–18:30
16 Now the Lord spoke to Moses after athe death of the two sons of Aaron, when they offered profane fire before the Lord, and died; 2 and the Lord said to Moses: “Tell Aaron your brother bnot to come at just any time into the Holy Place inside the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark, lest he die; for cI will appear in the cloud above the mercy seat.
3 1“Thus Aaron shall dcome into the Holy Place: ewith the blood of a young bull as a sin offering, and of a ram as a burnt offering. 4 He shall put the fholy linen tunic and the linen trousers on his body; he shall be girded with a linen sash, and with the linen turban he shall be attired. These are holy garments. Therefore ghe shall wash his body in water, and put them on. 5 And he shall take from hthe congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats as a sin offering, and one ram as a burnt offering.
6 “Aaron shall offer the bull as a sin offering, which is for himself, and imake atonement for himself and for his house. 7 He shall take the two goats and present them before the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. 8 Then Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats: one lot for the Lord and the other lot for the scapegoat. 9 And Aaron shall bring the goat on which the Lord’s lot fell, and offer it as a sin offering. 10 But the goat on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the Lord, to make jatonement upon it, and to let it go as the scapegoat into the wilderness.
11 “And Aaron shall bring the bull of the sin offering, which is for khimself, and make atonement for himself and for his house, and shall kill the bull as the sin offering which is for himself. 12 Then he shall take la censer full of burning coals of fire from the altar before the Lord, with his hands full of msweet incense beaten fine, and bring it inside the veil. 13 nAnd he shall put the incense on the fire before the Lord, that the cloud of incense may cover the omercy seat that is on the Testimony, lest he pdie. 14 qHe shall take some of the blood of the bull and rsprinkle it with his finger on the mercy seat on the east side; and before the mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times.
15 s“Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering, which is for the people, bring its blood tinside the veil, do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it on the mercy seat and before the mercy seat. 16 So he shall umake atonement for the Holy Place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions, for all their sins; and so he shall do for the tabernacle of meeting which remains among them in the midst of their uncleanness. 17 There shall be vno man in the tabernacle of meeting when he goes in to make atonement in the Holy Place, until he comes out, that he may make atonement for himself, for his household, and for all the assembly of Israel. 18 And he shall go out to the altar that is before the Lord, and make atonement for wit, and shall take some of the blood of the bull and some of the blood of the goat, and put it on the horns of the altar all around. 19 Then he shall sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times, cleanse it, and xconsecrate 2it from the 3uncleanness of the children of Israel.
20 “And when he has made an end of atoning for the Holy Place, the tabernacle of meeting, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat. 21 Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, yconfess over it all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions, concerning all their sins, zputting them on the head of the goat, and shall send it away into the wilderness by the hand of a suitable man. 22 The goat 4shall abear on itself all their iniquities to an 5uninhabited land; and he shall brelease the goat in the wilderness.
23 “Then Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of meeting, cshall take off the linen garments which he put on when he went into the Holy Place, and shall leave them there. 24 And he shall wash his body with water in a holy place, put on his garments, come out and offer his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, and make 6atonement for himself and for the people. 25 dThe fat of the sin offering he shall burn on the altar. 26 And he who released the goat as the scapegoat shall wash his clothes eand bathe his body in water, and afterward he may come into the camp. 27 fThe bull for the sin offering and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the Holy Place, shall be carried outside the camp. And they shall burn in the fire their skins, their flesh, and their offal. 28 Then he who burns them shall wash his clothes and bathe his body in water, and afterward he may come into the camp.
29 “This shall be a statute forever for you: gIn the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall 7afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether a native of your own country or a stranger who 8dwells among you. 30 For on that day the priest shall make 9atonement for you, to hcleanse you, that you may be clean from all your sins before the Lord. 31 iIt is a sabbath of solemn rest for you, and you shall afflict your souls. It is a statute forever. 32 jAnd the priest, who is anointed and kconsecrated to minister as priest in his father’s place, shall make atonement, and put on the linen clothes, the holy garments; 33 then he shall make 1atonement for 2the Holy Sanctuary, and he shall make atonement for the tabernacle of meeting and for the altar, and he shall make atonement for the priests and for all the people of the assembly. 34 lThis shall be an everlasting statute for you, to make atonement for the children of Israel, for all their sins, monce a year.” And he did as the Lord commanded Moses.
17 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to Aaron, to his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘This is the thing which the Lord has commanded, saying: 3 “Whatever man of the house of Israel who akills an ox or lamb or goat in the camp, or who kills it outside the camp, 4 and does not bring it to the door of the tabernacle of meeting to offer an offering to the Lord before the tabernacle of the Lord, the guilt of bloodshed shall be bimputed to that man. He has shed blood; and that man shall be 1cut off from among his people, 5 to the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices cwhich they offer in the open field, that they may bring them to the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, to the priest, and offer them as peace offerings to the Lord. 6 And the priest dshall sprinkle the blood on the altar of the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and eburn the fat for a sweet aroma to the Lord. 7 They shall no more offer their sacrifices fto 2demons, after whom they ghave played the harlot. This shall be a statute forever for them throughout their generations.” ’
8 “Also you shall say to them: ‘Whatever man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, hwho offers a burnt offering or sacrifice, 9 and does not ibring it to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, to offer it to the Lord, that man shall be 3cut off from among his people.
10 j‘And whatever man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, who eats any blood, kI will set My face against that person who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people. 11 For the llife of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar mto make atonement for your souls; for nit is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’ 12 Therefore I said to the children of Israel, ‘No one among you shall eat blood, nor shall any stranger who dwells among you eat blood.’
13 “Whatever man of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, who ohunts and catches any animal or bird that may be eaten, he shall ppour out its blood and qcover it with dust; 14 rfor it is the life of all flesh. Its blood sustains its life. Therefore I said to the children of Israel, ‘You shall not eat the blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.’
15 s“And every person who eats what died naturally or what was torn by beasts, whether he is a native of your own country or a stranger, the shall both wash his clothes and ubathe in water, and be unclean until evening. Then he shall be clean. 16 But if he does not wash them or bathe his body, then vhe shall bear his 4guilt.”
18 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: a‘I am the Lord your God. 3 bAccording to 1the doings of the land of Egypt, where you dwelt, you shall not do; and caccording to the doings of the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you, you shall not do; nor shall you walk in their 2ordinances. 4 dYou shall observe My judgments and keep My ordinances, to walk in them: I am the Lord your God. 5 You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, which if a man does, he shall live by them: I am the Lord.
6 ‘None of you shall approach anyone who is near of kin to him, to uncover his nakedness: I am the Lord. 7 The nakedness of your father or the nakedness of your mother you shall not uncover. She is your mother; you shall not uncover her nakedness. 8 The nakedness of your efather’s wife you shall not uncover; it is your father’s nakedness. 9 fThe nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father, or the daughter of your mother, whether born at home or elsewhere, their nakedness you shall not uncover. 10 The nakedness of your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter, their nakedness you shall not uncover; for theirs is your own nakedness. 11 The nakedness of your father’s wife’s daughter, begotten by your father—she is your sister—you shall not uncover her nakedness. 12 gYou shall not uncover the …
