In honor of Juneteenth, join FRONTLINE and PBS Black Culture Connection for a conversation that will reflect on the work of historic leaders including the abolitionist Frederick Douglass and the journalist Ida B. Wells, whose reporting raised awareness about lynching and was an inspiration for FRONTLINE's Un(re)solved project.

The event will be moderated by journalist Ron Nixon, global investigations editor at the Associated Press and a co-founder of the Ida B. Wells Society for Investigative Reporting.
Nixon, Duster and Morris will discuss how history, education and storytelling can reveal truth and provide pathways toward empowerment and justice. Their conversations will also explore cold case killings during the civil rights movement, and how they relate to the state of race relations in American today. |
