“I confess I do not believe in time. I like to fold my magic carpet, after use, in such a way as to superimpose one part of the pattern upon another. Let visitors trip. And the highest enjoyment of timelessness―in a landscape selected at random―is when I stand among rare butterflies and their food plants.- nabokov

War on science? Pardon me, while I laugh!
War on science? A war on science? Science requires questions! Science requires questions about questioning everything! What matters is reality! You think that you can understand reality. You think that you can understand truth. Get real! You can not understand reality. Reality involves questions! Do you ever question your beliefs? Do you ever question what society supports? Not all cultures acknowledge science! They are into tribal council things! How dare you judge them! You and your western vapor worship! Worship of reason is worship of vapor! Reason is vapor! You go after it, and it leaves! Question every thought! Question every idea! What matters is truth!

We really thought that war was good?
How dumb were we in the past to have actually thought that there could be anything good about war? War is war! War is evil! War cannot ever be called anything other than vomit! It you like shooting at people who get in your way, merely because they have gotten in your way, then you are crazy! Yet, this is what war demands! Yes, it is better than slavery, but that doesn't make it good!
60 years ago, black students staged a sit-in at a segregated lunch counter.
Sixty years ago, four African-American students quietly sat down in a white Woolworth bar in Greensboro, North Carolina and waited.
They were still waiting, although they had not received any service and requests to leave. The next day they came back and waited again.
Within three days of starting the protest, over 300 students joined the Greensboro Four on their sit-in. In the following months, their actions sparked a wave of similar demonstrations in restaurants and other isolated places in the south, changing the fight against segregation from Jim Crow's time and setting a turning point in the civil rights movement.
