Timotyh, we’ll get straight to the point

Join us.

Timotyh, we’ll get straight to the point: We would love your feedback on where the DNC goes from here.

Can you take a few minutes to share your thoughts? You can use this link.

Here’s what will happen next: Our team will spend several more days gathering feedback from people all over the country — in red, blue, and purple states alike.

Then, we’ll analyze the responses we’ve received, and we’ll share that information with DNC leadership and the DNC’s new Chair, Ken Martin, to help inform the Party’s decision-making going forward. We will keep you updated with results and next steps, too.

So please, take a few minutes to share your input. Your voice is an essential part of this conversation, and we want to hear what you think about the DNC’s future.

Thank you for everything,

The Democrats

Science is not in the business of establishing truth

Science is not in the business of establishing truth. Science is in the business of establishing the believability of theories. If a theory satisfies the criteria of the scientific method it does not mean it is true but it can be incorporated in the body of science as being sound and believable.

No matter how successful a theory may be it will always be a theory; a story that we humans share to help us come to terms with the world in which we live. As Harari points out in his masterpiece, Sapiens our success as a species is due, in large part, to the myths and stories we share. I believe this is especially true in the sphere of science.

Science is evidence based. But science is also based on a story; the story of materialism. Science can only improve on religion if there is a willingness amongst scientists to drop the philosophy of materialism in the face of incontrovertible evidence that it is unsound. Science is only credible if scientists treat all evidence with the same degree of impeccable impartiality. If evidence is rejected, because it doesn’t fit the myth of materialism that most scientists happen to believe, that is stark prejudice and prejudice has no place in science. In science all systems of belief are hypotheses and theories which should be dropped immediately in the face of irrefutable contradictory evidence. If we lose sight of that fundamental rule in science we are liable to become lost and deluded. The time has come for this rule to be applied to the 19th Century theory of evolution. -_from Vortex cosmology

Time, Space, & THOUGHT

Within the known limits of time… within the conceived boundaries of space…. the average human thinks those are the settings of existence… Yet the ponderer, the outcast, the believer, helps out the human. “Think not of 2 dimensions,” says the ponderer, “but of 3, as your world is conceived of 3 dimensions, so is mine. While you explore the immediate physical boundaries of your body, you see in your 3 dimensions—L, W, & H. Yet I, who is more mentally open to anything, see my 3 dimensions, my realm of thought—Time, Space, & THOUGHT. Thought is the most powerful thing that exists—anything conceivable can be produced, anything & everything is possible, even in your physical world.” After this so called “lecture” the common man feels confused, empty, & unaware. Yet those are the best emotions of a ponderer. The real difference is, a true ponderer will explore these emotions & what caused them. Another… a dream.

Vader Plays Baseball

Once upon a time, in a galaxy not so far away, there was a young boy named Anakin Skywalker. Anakin lived in a small desert town called Mos Espa on the planet Tatooine. He was known for his incredible speed and agility, but not just in pod racing. Anakin had a secret passion for baseball, a game he had learned about from the travelers who passed through his town.

One sunny afternoon, as the twin suns of Tatooine shone brightly in the sky, Anakin gathered his friends for a game of baseball. They had fashioned a makeshift baseball field in the sandy lot behind his home. The bases were made from old crates, and the bat was a sturdy stick Anakin had found. The ball was a soft, round piece of cloth wrapped tightly with string.

"Alright, everyone! Let’s play!" Anakin shouted, his eyes sparkling with excitement. His friends cheered and took their positions. Anakin was the pitcher, and he stood on the mound, ready to throw the first pitch. He took a deep breath, focused, and threw the ball with all his might. It soared through the air, spinning like a pod racer zooming through the desert.

The ball landed perfectly in the hands of his friend, Obi-Wan, who was ready to hit. With a swift swing of the bat, Obi-Wan sent the ball flying into the sky. It soared high above the makeshift field, and the children gasped in awe. Anakin sprinted to the bases, his heart racing with joy.

As the game continued, Anakin’s skills shone brightly. He was fast, agile, and had an incredible knack for catching the ball. His friends cheered him on, calling him the best player in the galaxy. But Anakin was not just playing for fun; he dreamed of becoming a great baseball player one day, just like the heroes he had heard about.

As the sun began to set, painting the sky with hues of orange and purple, Anakin’s team was ahead. They were just one run away from winning the game. The tension was high, and everyone was on the edge of their seats. Anakin stepped up to bat, feeling the weight of the moment. He gripped the bat tightly, his heart pounding in his chest.

The pitcher from the opposing team, a boy named Sebulba, was known for his tricky pitches. Anakin focused, determined to hit the ball. Sebulba threw the ball with a sneaky spin, but Anakin was ready. He swung the bat with all his strength, and the ball flew off the bat like a shooting star.

"Home run!" shouted Obi-Wan, as Anakin raced around the bases. The cheers of his friends filled the air, echoing through the desert. Anakin crossed home plate, and his friends lifted him into the air, celebrating their victory.

That day, Anakin learned that teamwork, friendship, and a little bit of practice could lead to great things. As the stars began to twinkle in the night sky, he looked up and made a wish. He wished to play baseball in the big leagues one day, to inspire others just like he had inspired his friends.

From that day on, Anakin practiced every chance he got. He played baseball with his friends, and they all grew better together. They formed a team called the "Tatooine Titans," and they dreamed of one day playing against teams from other planets.

And so, in the heart of the desert, a young boy named Anakin Skywalker discovered his love for baseball, a game that would teach him about friendship, perseverance, and the joy of playing together. Little did he know, this passion would follow him throughout his life, shaping him into the hero he was destined to become.

The Galactic Adventure of Momma Planet

Once upon a time in a galaxy not so far away, there lived a gigantic planet named Momma. She was so big that the Earth and all the other planets in the solar system orbited around her! The stars twinkled in delight as they watched her roll through space, her laughter echoing like thunder across the cosmos.

One sunny day, a brave little astronaut named Timmy decided to explore the wonders of Momma Planet. He strapped on his shiny space suit, hopped into his rocket ship, and zoomed off into the starry sky. "I’m going to find out what makes Momma so special!" he shouted with excitement.

As Timmy approached Momma, he noticed her surface was covered in fluffy clouds that looked like cotton candy. "Wow!" he exclaimed. "This is going to be the sweetest adventure ever!"

Suddenly, a loud rumble shook his rocket. Timmy looked out the window and saw Momma giggling, causing the planets to wobble in their orbits. "Hold on tight!" she boomed, and with a whoosh, she sent Timmy flying through the air!

Timmy soared over mountains made of marshmallows and rivers of chocolate syrup. He dodged giant gummy bears that bounced around like basketballs. "This is amazing!" he shouted, laughing as he zipped through the sugary landscape.

But then, Timmy spotted a group of sad little stars. They were stuck in a sticky web of space candy! "Help us, Timmy!" they cried. Without a second thought, Timmy activated his rocket’s super-suction mode. With a powerful whoosh, he sucked up the sticky candy and freed the stars!

"Thank you, brave astronaut!" the stars twinkled brightly. "You’re a hero!"

Just then, Momma Planet noticed the commotion. "What’s going on, little one?" she asked, her voice booming like a friendly giant.

"I saved the stars from the sticky candy!" Timmy replied proudly.

Momma chuckled, her laughter sending ripples through space. "You’re quite the adventurer, Timmy! How about a reward?"

With a wave of her hand, she created a magnificent feast of cosmic treats: asteroid cookies, nebula fruit, and stardust smoothies! Timmy’s eyes widened in delight.

As they feasted together, Timmy realized that Momma wasn’t just a planet; she was a friend. And with every bite, he felt the warmth of her love surrounding him.

After a day filled with laughter and adventure, it was time for Timmy to return home. "Thank you, Momma! I’ll never forget this day!" he said, waving goodbye as he blasted off into the stars.

As he flew back to Earth, he looked back at Momma Planet, who winked at him, her surface shimmering with joy. And from that day on, Timmy knew that no matter how big or small, love could make the universe feel just right.

And so, the Earth continued to orbit around Momma, the happiest planet in the galaxy, where adventures and laughter never ended!
